Make morning, after-school and evening steps visible and easier to practice together.

Illustrative kids’ routine zone inspiration

Sound familiar?

The same reminders are taking up the whole morning.

Here’s a simple way to begin. Use the space and supplies you have, and adjust as you learn what works.

01

Choose one transition

Start with the part of the day that feels hardest. Write down only the essential steps, in the order your household uses them.

02

Make the steps visible

Use simple words or pictures that suit your child. Put the chart where the activity happens and practice together.

03

Adjust before adding more

Notice where support is needed. Shorten or reorder the steps before adding new responsibilities, and allow for different abilities and energy levels.
