Tips for a card that gets used

Short, visible and practiced.

01

Keep it short

Four to eight steps is plenty. If a routine needs more, it may be two routines.

02

Put it where it happens

Bathroom door for bedtime, by the backpack for mornings, at your child’s eye level.

03

Point, don’t repeat

When a step is missed, point to the card instead of saying it again. The card does the reminding.
